The Process

Using Sakura Pen-touch markers attached to a vinyl cutter head, a collection of moon drawings were made from an original illustration. Minor imperfections in the machine movements make every copy slightly different from the next. No two drawings will look exactly identical but it is this reason about the process which adds a human touch to these drawings. Every piece must be supervised to see if the pen is running dry and if it is, it must be shaken so that the ink can keep flowing.
